To earn the degree Bachelor of Science in Architecture, students must complete 223 academic units.
The Bachelor of Science in Architecture is a five-year program that equips students with the creative, technical, and sustainable design skills essential for the modern built environment. It prepares future architects to design functional, innovative, and environmentally responsive spaces that serve both people and communities.
The program provides comprehensive training in architectural design, construction technology, building systems, environmental design, and urban planning. Its distinct edge lies in its emphasis on parametric design, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in design processes, and immersive Virtual Reality (VR) technologies, preparing students for the future of architecture and design innovation.
Situated at USJ-R’s newest Quadricentennial Campus in the Cebu City Heritage District, the program offers state-of-the-art facilities and collaborative spaces that foster creativity, technological proficiency, and sustainable thinking. Through studio work, research, community immersion, and industry exposure, students develop the competencies needed to excel as licensed architects, designers, project managers, and sustainability advocates in both local and global settings.
